MedSUS is an innovative software that enhances the management of healthcare services in Brazil, offering vital tools for tracking and improving patient care.

Beta Version

Currently, this version of the application includes technical content aimed at healthcare professionals. Soon, the Ministry of Health will provide, for each medication, content with terms adapted for better understanding by citizens.

At this time, the Ministry of Health is working to resolve the inconsistencies already identified.

The MedSUS is an application provided by the Ministry of Health that compiles information on medications listed in the National List of Essential Medicines (Rename) of the Unified Health System (SUS).

The objective of MedSUS is to facilitate access to medication information by healthcare professionals and citizens, aiming at promoting rational drug use.

- FTN and Digital Rename

The information comes from the monographs of the National Therapeutic Formulary (FTN), a reference work that accompanies Rename and supports prescription, dispensing, and rational use of medications.

- Quality scientific information

The monographs have various highly credible sources of evidence-based information, such as WHO medication forms, clinical guidelines from the Ministry of Health, and international databases.

- Comprehensive information

The application contains medication information such as active ingredient, presentation, indications for use, administration schedules, adverse reactions, drug interactions, among many others.

- Constant updates

The medication monographs will be updated whenever the application is opened. Inclusions and exclusions of medications by SUS will also be displayed.

- Share

Share the medication monographs of your interest and make it even easier to use the information in your daily life.

- Bookmark

Mark the medications you access most frequently and facilitate the use of the application.

- Filter

Optimize your searches using the filters for Rename attachments, Special Control, Main Anatomical Group, and medications with generics.
